#1 A lot of people keep saying that minecraft is saved because pewdiepie posted videos about the game lol

Minecraft memes went hard for a while which I think also added to it. So I think it was memes and pewdiepie. As well as every other youtuber on the platform. But keep it mind it just went from big to mainstream again. It was never really dying. Would of taken years and years at best.

1. The launch of Hytale by Hypixel Server in Minecraft
2. Minecraft Earth
3. Minecraft Dungeons (A very small part though)
Because of this, pewds played minecraft which he ironically criticized before, and that made a huge impact on the number of players.
