Is it okay to get inspirations from Pinterest or get resources from there?

Pinterest and other social media in general are very great sources for inspiration

Even the best artists are inspired by something. As long as you don't copy, but take inspiration from what you see, it's absolutely okay with me.

I have been a 3d modeler for around 3 years now, and god. I can not express my love pinterest as much as i would want to. The sheer amount of creative people on there already blows my mind. I made mine fully customized towards weaponry, love it.

pinterest has a lot of random! i like the algothrim it reminds me of web 1.0 before google took over the internet!

fine to use anything as a reference, but don;'t ripoff other ppls work.

Pinterest is actually a pretty good site for references, I use it like every time. If you're getting resources from the site,there should be no problem if you're only doing it for yourself and not for commercial use.

Even professional artist use Pinterst references, no shame.

Of course it's good, we all do it and not only from pinterest, personally I prefer Instagram and Tumblr but remember that you must give credit to the creator.
