If you mean resources like downloading textures and stuff I would avoid that as much as possible unless you are ok not crediting/stealing which if you are asking this question you probably aren't. Most people repost stuff from other creators there for clicks. References are fine, I see so many pictures f the same five girls drawn over and over again though so it does get kind of boring, I would say go deeper down the rabbit hole to avoid doing the same thing as everyone else.

Do what makes you feel good! You're already asking if it's ok, so it sounds like you'll be respectable of other peoples work. Are you talking about using other people's drawings or a photograph as a reference? I guess context matters.
I used to look through fashion magazines and draw the poses the models made. But there would also be times where I had an idea for a painting and then would ask my roommate to pose for a reference. So, just don't sweat it and have fun.

Pinterest is a great source my man, just don't exactly copy or trace and you'll be fine!

Its okay to get inspirations from anywhere. Btw I think Pinterest shows a lot of complete / already done work. Wich it's okay but isn't the unique way to get inspiration. Maybe u can try another places, like are.na and see deep references, not only graphic design works. I mean if u see a lot of work from other graphic designers maybe u gonna try to do the same things and thats a great excersice but not the only way to develope your own style.

Btw sorry for my english, im new and it isn't my lenguage Smile

of course! Pinterest is a great place for inspiration. But just get inspired and try not to copy ideas.

In my opinion everything on Pinterest looks the same. It looks like the quirky mom of your highschoolfriend with the short hair cut who likes "rock" music said to herself "today im gonna be creative"
