I hate to say it, but yes, Rock is dead. If we are lucky, it's in a induced long term coma and life support is keeping on this planet. Life support being the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Unless a cure comes along, Rock is doomed to fate much like Jazz back in the 1940s.

i feel like all the big things in rock already happened, all things rise and fall. of course there are and will be great bands but popularity wise other genres will get more atention in the upcoming decades i feel

I think any kind of music can really die, I know some people that like Gregorian or Classical music, its posible less new music but its impossible a real die of any kind, always going to exist people that like the music new or not.

i wouldnt say anything is dead loads of people still listen and enjoy it and im sure there are some producers out there that are still creating or that you havent heard of i bet most have stopped beause of covid but that doesnt mean they arent out there i hope you find something to lsten to try looking for other people playlists for inspiration and new things on spotify

Not at all, it's still around, just not as widely enjoyed, there still is a very loyal community around it.

No. People just don't care for searching for new things, what makes good rock bands to die before coming to light.
