classic rock is technically dead, only few are alive are from long time ago and not as relevant. the rock subgenres like shoegaze have a lot of artists that are still making music

For me rock is being reborn but badley rappers have taken it and screwed with it to the point where its not about the voice anymore because they can just change that in the studio (btw look up Foo Fighters really great band it was made by the drummer of nirvana)

Ah, "rock is dead." A phrase nearly as old as the genre itself and a claim that pops up all too often on this sub. To begin, rock is certainly still around. There are tons of musicians in the world of rock, and the audience for it is still huge, so it's obviously not dead in the sense that it doesn't exist anymore, because it's obviously still everywhere.

I completely agree. I honestly dont think Rock will ever be dead. It is steadily evolving currently, and the EDM scene is most definitely starting to make a bit of a play on rock as well. If you havent heard yet, go look up Sullivan King. Hes a fucking rocker who turns it into EDM.

rock will never die. Even if there is not a lot of new rock songs there are fans (even childs) who loves this kind of music. I am huge fan of classic rock and I will never stop loving it

Fashion is such a thing that something comes and goes. But things don't go out of fashion forever. Someday rock will return. Already it seems to me slowly it begins
