I'm a fan of almost every genre (Except for like New Country, that shit is trash), and I don't care to shit on others opinions but if you really think rap is just -

then you obviously haven't listened to much rap music. I understand what you're saying because a large majority of trap music (which has taken over rap the past few years) consists of that, but overall thats just a horribly skewed view of rap. I mean even the biggest artists in the genre right now don't talk about any of that in a positive manner, and the only one that even touches on that is Kendrick. I know you probably don't care but if you want some recommendations I could hook you up.

As for the OP, nah I disagree. I think musics just easier to get into so you have shittier artists coming up but as a whole the genre is improving in a lot of ways.

Ya it is. Especially German rap. I changed my music into metal/rock. Some good metalstep for sleeping

Of course I care, I'm an open guy and if you think you can open my eyes to a more cleaner and enjoyable version of rap then I would really appreciate the suggestions.

My words. The only Rap I "support" is a bit of Eminem but that's it already. But why I hate it could possibly come from my friends who are just hearing german gangster rap, worst genre ever xD
