Rap is turning trash

As long as you listen to the newer rappers, then you can like it. Old style is bad.

I think 69 is really good only he did something bad tho but he's good

It's common for people to prefer the artists they grew up with and think <insert favourite genre> has been turning to shit as they've gotten older... music tends captures a snapshot/memory of when something was written, and you've got the nostalgia/etc. of that time in your life to go with it. People also become more closed-minded as they get older, and become progressively less willing to adapt to change (which musical styles inevitably do.) There's always good new music out there though... not necessarily on the radio or other mainstream sources, but it's out there, you just have to dig a bit harder to find it. The vast majority of musicians are talentless.. this has always been true, it's just easier than ever for them to release/publish it now.

(I personally think mumble rap is shit too, got nothing against rap though.)

there are a few rapers who make real rap not that trashumble rap :D

Even Eminem is going way too mainstream nowadays. That's why I just refer back to old-school rap and hip-hop, it will always be alive as long as there's people that'll listen to it.

rap its not trash , everyone listen what kind of music they like , there are plenty genres of rap to listen to.
