For people that are not comfortable to go to the gym (included there), I'd recommend going with a friend. Makes stuff way less awkward for you because you can just joke about it. If that's not an option, running/cycling are always good for weight loss and IMO calisthenics at home can do much needed work for beginners that want some muscle.
Just don't think you'll be able to do the medium workouts if you are out of shape/physically weak because those are quite straining even if they do look easy.

If you have friends in your area, ask them if they wanna hang out. Go for a walk, kick the ball or something. Just do fun enjoyable physical activities if your that lazy. If your motivated enough to hit the gym or go for fat jogs and stuff, then do that. Just remember the how good the outcomes will be at the end of the day. It's also good to change your diet and eating healthstyle. That will get you more in shape.

consistency is key. it'll suck the first week or two but the moment you get a schedule and rhythm going it'll be like performing any other task

Agreed. Consistently making time for at least a week is the hardest, but will then lead to becoming a habit. Then you'll find yourself automatically thinking/planning for the workout.

start taking cold showers just to do something you don't want to do in the morning. Then start to get into the routine of working out and it should become a habit in like a month

Start small. Set yourself a daily goal (i.e. 5 push ups a day) and complete at the same time each day. So 5 push ups a day in the morning before you h e a shower. Pretty soon it will become a routine and you will start to push yourself. All the best!

It's literally as simple as just getting up and doing it. I know it may feel like you don't want to, or you can't be annoyed with it, but say to yourself to just get up and do it. Literally get up and go do what you are going to do. Once you start moving, it's not as bad as you thought it would be. After a while it will just come as second nature and you won't even have to think about it.
