I tried nicotine gum, makes me dizzy... right now I'm gradually reducing my smoking to 1-2 cigs per day

Check out a Juul they have nicotine pods, with flavors like Classic/Virginia Tobacco and they hit and feel like a cig.

I always thought of things as "Just stop. That's it."
But now after my self harming habits, I kind of understand that it's not so easy.
It's not the specific thing that we're doing that we get addicted to, it's the feelings and stuff associated with it.
I don't know, to be honest.

You need a hard will to stop it, but in fact is simple if you can bare the physical pain.

simple last cig, at night and throw it out. and do not buy another pack

For me, I literally just threw half a packet away and never did it again. I must have strong willpower lmao

Find something to fill is void. The main thing to get someone to smoke is downtime and anxiety. Remove those and it's a lot easier

Switch over to vaping, but in my opinion, theres not enough research on it and hasn't been around long enough for long term effects.

Gradually reducing the amount you smoke seems to work for a lot of others. With vaping, you could decrease the nicotine content slowly and finally be free of the nic addiction.
